I am well aware that the second coming of the brand extension is bringing a few new titles into the picture. Smackdown! Womens Championship, some tag titles, and likely will see a return of the Cruiserweight title. Too many titles can water things down I know, but with a slight focus on the former WWE Hardcore Championship on the WWE Network, I am left wanting just one more.
No, not the Hardcore title necessarily, but similar in how it was defended. What I would like to see is a hybrid of what was the Television mixed with the Hardcore. The T.V. title meant title matches on television, and the Hardcore meant it was up for grabs 24/7. Combined it would simply be a WWE Television Championship defended around the clock. In and out of the ring. Nothing really "hardcore", but more of a "Falls Count Anywhere" type of thing. The brand new WWE 24/7 Championship.
That or I would consider changing the Intercontinental and United States titles into something similar. The build up to special events/pay pr views can be dry at times given you almost know for sure that there is nothing of actual importance is going to happen around the titles. Not asking for endless title changes, but there should be a lot more title defending on the mid-card level and below.
Might not be enough room right now, but if the split ever ends I would go this route. Even go as far as unifying the IC and US titles to make room for it.
