WWE EXTREME RULES MATCHES & PREDICTIONS

The pay-per-view/special event that follows Wrestlemania (this year it is "Extreme Rules") is where old feuds come to a conclusion, new feuds are explored, and is also the first step on the "Road To Summerslam". Doesn't have the same ring to it, but none the less, WWE is beginning to plant the seeds to their second biggest event, Summerslam. Here is a list of matches and their NGN predicted outcomes...

WWE Tag Team Championship
The New Day Vs Tyson Kidd & Cesaro (C)
Prediction: Tyson Kidd & Cesaro retain the titles. Unless, WWE is looking to build off of the fans distaste of The New Day.

KISS ME ARSE MATCH
Dolph Ziggler Vs Sheamus
Prediction:Sheamus wins. WWE isn't going to "humble" Sheamus, but it would be nice to see Dolph somehow thwart the kissing of Irish arse tonight.

WWE Divas Championship
Naomi Vs Nikki Bella (C)
Prediction: Nikki Bella retains title. Naomi is "filling in" for the newly "retired" AJ Lee, so it is hard to see them putting the title on her so quickly.

CHICAGO STREET FIGHT
Dean Ambrose Vs Luke Harper
Prediction: Dean Ambrose with the win. Wrestlemania 31 saw Harper put Ambrose through a ladder, it is only fair that he be the one to take the dirty bump and the loss.

LAST MAN STANDING MATCH
Roman Reigns Vs Big Show
Prediction: Roman Reigns wins. WWE is still trying to "force" the push instead of just letting it play out. So naturally one is almost safe to assume they will have Show "do the honors".

RUSSIAN CHAIN MATCH
WWE United States Championship
Rusev Vs John Cena (C)
Prediction: John Cena retains. It might be possible to see Lana "lose" this one, and then cause a slight split between her and Rusev. If anything, a win keeps Cena away from going for #16.

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Bad News Barrett Vs Daniel Bryan (C)

Prediction: Bad News Barrett is new IC Champ. Daniel Bryan's health has been an issue again, and for the "sake of the title" perhaps best for someone else to carry it. Prediction may be Barrett, but the hope lays with a healthy Daniel Bryan retaining.

STEEL CAGE MATCH-RKO IS BANNED
WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Randy Orton Vs Seth Rollins
Prediction: Seth Rollins retains. The question to how he retains is tricky. Will Orton get caught delivering a RKO? Will Kane be involved? If so, will he attempt to cost Rollins the title and fail, or out right screw over Randy Orton?

Like stated before, now is when WWE begins to build their vision for Summerslam. Brock Lesner is still out on "suspension", will he return to cause havoc? Sting will most likely appear again in WWE and at Summerslam, will Extreme Rules be where he begins the story? And lets not forget someone who is missing from the card, Bray Wyatt. Will he reveal who he was talking about, and take action against them? Word has it that he has been referring to Ryback. Will things begin between them tonight at Extreme Rules? So many questions, and almost always a pleasure when they are answered.

NGN's FAVORITE SUBMISSION FINISHING MOVES

Unless it is a part of the bigger picture, nobody really likes a DQ, Count Out, or No Contest finish to a wrestling match. Unless there are added stipulations, there is typically two ways to get a win. A pin-fall and a submission. As the title states, for this one we are going to focus on the finishers that make opponents tap or pass out.
While many are starstruck by the high flyers and power moves of big men, the submission wrestlers typically keep things to how pro wrestling began, as wrestling. More of a mat based product was used to initially draw in the crowds. And although not everyone can make the transition, when an amateur does, it is usually a work of art when they are in the ring. Anyone of any size or styles can of course apply a submission, but it is typically a weapon of the medium sized mat geniuses.

So, of all of the submission finishers in wrestling, here are Non-Geeky Nerd's favorite, and a couple of least favorites...

Sharpshooter
I'm Canadian so naturally this is on the list, sorry to Sting fans, but this move will always be Bret's finisher (Sting also has the Scorpion Death Drop, a signature move he's better known for). It is also a move that only make this list when applied properly. Not like The Rock used to slap this move onto people, but how Bret Hart and Chris Benoit used to perfectly apply it.

Walls Of Jericho
Another move that only makes the list when applied properly. It isn't a Boston Crab, it is a variation of that move. It mainly falls on whom it is applied to by Chris Jericho, but when he is "allowed" to apply the move right, it looks amazing.

Black Widow
Likely have seen a luchador or high flyer apply this before, but the Black Widow makes the cut via recent retiree AJ Lee. It looks painful, and as AJ Lee has shown before, you can make your opponent "tap out" for them.

Kimura
It "works" better when Brock Lesner applies this given his run in MMA (UFC Heavyweight Champion. No biggie....). And at times, you may find yourself thinking, "Brock could snap that arm like a twig if he wanted".

Texas Cloverleaf
It is similar to the Sharpshooter, but different at the same time.  It is almost a crossbreed of the Sharpshooter and the Boston Crab. Regardless, it can look great when the aggressor isn't too gassed.

The Million Dollar Dream
Out of all of the Sleeper moves, this is the one I still apply to those willing (very lightly, of course). And seeing Ted DiBiase Jr evolve the move into a straight finisher from a submission attempt was quite beautiful to see.

Anaconda Vice
The obvious joke would be "hopefully CM Punk doesn't try to apply this in the UFC", but in all seriousness, it looked like a painful hold. Although not sure if it was working the throat or arm.

Hells Gate
It was Undertaker's variation of a MMA move (Triangle Choke), which if you had never seen in its natural form, looked legit. Until WWE opted to have blood ooze from the victims mouths while in the move. A slight case of "over selling", but makes the list regardless.

Least Favorite:

Tarantula
When Tajiri would apply the move, it would receive a huge pop from the crowd. It looked great. But the problem was, other than a no holds barred style match, it only lasted that standard 5 count.

Brock Lock
It looked like it would hurt, but it just looked ugly. And almost screamed WWE trying to take Brock in the seemingly traditional route of previous amateur wrestlers must have a submission finisher.

MEANING BEHIND SPRINGBOARD STUNNER?

John Cena using the "Springboard Stunner" in his matches. It could mean nothing. Simply adding a new move to the repertoire. It could be paying homage to one the greatest of all time. Or is it something "more"? Is it possible that John Cena is secretly calling out Stone Cold Steve Austin?

Cena has done it before, using media appearances and interviews to talk smack about The Great One, The Rock. It was John Cena's attempt to bring Dwayne Johnson out of Hollywood, and back into the squared circle. Back into being The Rock. And as we all have seen, it worked. He wasn't back "full-time", but The Rock was back in the WWE. His appearances were more frequent, and we saw the two face off at Wrestlemania 28. Then we even saw a multi-month title reign. Which added even more to their second bout at Wrestlemania 29.
Stone Cold Steven Austin's stance on returning to the ring has wavered over the years, and we've seen that he is still in great shape. But, he is waiting for that "right moment". Many thought that moment would've come via a match with CM Punk. Although we are told to never say never in this business, this is even more unlikely given the current situation. So, who does that leave? Everyone will have their favorite, but John Cena has proven he is reliable, safe, and willing. He has shown this in not only his matches with The Rock, but also his matches with Brock Lesner (another "attraction"). Given he was the one chosen, WWE is likely wanting to Cena be the one to face Stone Cold for that "one more match". A match that many have been aching to see happen since the early 2000's. Ironically, Cena was the one people wanted to see make this happen during and post Ruthless Aggression era. Again, is it possible this is what Cena is doing? Austin might not bite on words being said, given Austin didn't walk away to seek other endeavors. He had left due to both physical injury and mental burnout. So, perhaps with Stone Cold being in great shape the time is now. And Cena is using an almost "Stone Cold" trademark, despite the variation. Recently SCSA had talked about his feeling on it, and although didn't outright say he was against this, he didn't appear pleased. Also, apparently had mentioned things about trademark infringement. Even though we've seen others at times use a Stunner variation (Ryback-Backpack Stunner).

So, perhaps this is what John Cena is attempting to do, and perhaps Austin is biting at the bait. Or at least nibbling at it. It would be nice to see though, regardless of your opinion on Cena. We've seen The Rock versus John Cena, and we just recently saw The Undertaker versus Bray Wyatt. With Wrestlemania 32 taking place in Texas, which happens to be Stone Cold's home state, what better setting could there be? If you're a Cena hater, it will at least keep him out of the title picture aka title reign #16.

THE DOWNSIDE OF WWE TAG TEAM INSURGECE

Tag-team wrestling has been a staple of sorts within wrestling for decades. For most of us, the 80's and early 90's saw a massive number of teams of all different styles. And then although they continued on in the rest of the 90's and 2000's, it wasn't quite the same. In the earlier era's mentioned, tag-teams were mainly put together and seemed to stay together until an injury, contract stuff, or legitimate beef tore them apart. Teams like Legion Of Doom/Road Warriors, Bushwhackers, and very few others teams were really able to maintain being a duo.

And then we came to see what is safe to call either "Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels Syndrome" begin. This is where mega stars in the singles division were made from successful tag-teams "splitting-up". After that, to this day, there have been an endless stream of tag-teams seemingly thrown together in-order to find the next "HBK". There have been slight exceptions, like The Dudley Boys/Team 3-D, but even they eventually "split". Today the only tag-team that doesn't make one  sit and wait for the swerve or turn is the Usos. Although being twins doesn't make them safe from the split, as we saw with the Bellas.

This is the downside of the tag-team division growing, it usually means it is a temporary thing. And soon most of these teams will split up. With one star getting a push (of variable sizes), and the other likely fading to lower card status, or even from the roster. Looking at the teams right now within WWE, and there are some that stand out as temporary. Cesaro And Kidd for starters, as WWE was clearly looking to make a star out of Cesaro and Kidd was returning from injury to basically appearing on "Total Divas". Already WWE Tag Team Champions, but how long will this team last before WWE splits them apart and attempts to push, or re-push one of them? The Lucha Dragons is a team  that could go both ways. The tag-team is getting over with the audience, and likely with the kids similar to (if not better than) Los Matadors. However, what stands out is the previous investments WWE has put into the character Sin Cara. We're on wrestler #2 under the mask, and hasn't quite "replaced" Rey Mysterio as they had likely hoped. So, this team could either stay together for a long time, or we see Sin Cara go "dark" and make the turn.

Again, the Usos are really the only team not likely, or better put "less likely" (given Bella situation) to split up. There is also the new tag-team  via NXT in The Ascension, but it doesn't appear they are getting "over" like the previously had before making the main roster. Will they stick together, or even around? As is the case any more with many tag-team within WWE.

WHY ISN'T THIS LEGEND ALREADY IN THE WWE HALL OF FAME?

It is a question that could apply to lists upon lists of past wrestlers. This year saw "Macho Man" Randy Savage be removed from those pages. But, this article focuses that question on one person, Hillbilly  Jim. A person who I initially thought was already in the WWE Hall Of Fame. I missed his induction because it was in the earlier classes when the Hall Of Fame wasn't an event like it is now. Bit, this wasn't the case. Thanks to "Reunion Show" for "WWE Legends House" this was both mentioned and caused the thought process.

Why isn't Hillbilly Jim in the WWE Hall Of Fame? He's a verified Legend, but lacking the ring to go to that "next level". To give him that "Hall Of Famer" status. He was "worthy enough" to be included amongst the cast, which were all WWE Hall Of Famers. For some he was just as big of a deal as Junkyard Dog in his supporting role with Hulk Hogan and "Rock 'n' Wrestling". Even as his inring performing days winded down, he made the transition to manager with The Godwinns. So, what is the reason? Is it the lack of championships? There are many within the WWE Hall Of Fame who are in the same boat. Was there some sort of fall-out that we've heard nothing about? Or could it be Hillbilly Jim's own decision to not be in there?

Personally, I think he should be in there. Again given his status during WWE's initial explosion in the 1980's, but also his loyalty to the company and the work he put in during his time. Covering for no-shows, injured, and wrestlers who simply left. Hillbilly Jim would fill the void. Is there something fans need to do? If you know of a reason, feel free to comment below (or where you found this post). Please don't give a "he sucks" response, as everyone who has come and gone is really a matter of opinion. I suppose the real question to all of this is, "What makes a WWE Hall Of Famer?".

*Looking at old pics, if he re-grows the beard...and if there is ever a need for an elder Wyatt...hmm

TIME FOR REIGNS TO COOK

I know, the title is somewhat of a "wtf", but let me explain. Let's turn back the clock to the 1990's. WWE (as we all know, then known as WWF), had third generation wrestler, who had "it". They didn't know what his "it" was, but regardless, he had "it". WWE hyped him up, showcasing his lineage. He comes from one of sports entertainments biggest family dynasties. Then came out Rocky Maivia. Crazy hair, and a giant smile. Athletic as hell, but his look and WWE's "push" wasn't being bought by the fans. They had him win titles, and be "put over" by some of the best. It just wasn't working. Fans chanted, "Rocky Sucks!", even going as far as chanting, "Die, Rocky, Die!". A change was needed. Luckily, things did change because as we all have seen, it clearly had the "it" that they were talking about. That change came via the glorious, and at times poorly used, "heel turn". From the ashes of the failed Rocky Maivia rose The Rock. Through this turn, he was able to fire back at the crowds, and find "himself". The Rock of course is apparently Dwayne Johnson with the volume jacked up.

Did any of that sound familiar? The first half of what was stated above, it almost exactly what is happening with Roman Reigns. Fans began to reject him when he was getting a push a tad early (perhaps). He is even from the same family, that WWE has been using to try and hype Reigns. Many might disagree with this, especially since it has often been "over-used" or poorly done, but a heel turn might be what Roman Reigns needs. To find himself perhaps, at least as a character. Some might even say that mimicking The Rock would be the wrong way to go. Look at what WCW tried to do with Booker T aka The Book. If Booker wasn't a Hall Of Fame caliber performer, he would have been forever remembered as a "Rock knock-off". He found "himself", but it did help establish him a bit with some fans.
With Roman, it would be both similar and completely different. Yes, he would be making a heel turn like The Rock. Perhaps even using The Rock to make his turn. However, he wouldn't be continuing on as the next Rock, he would still be Roman Reigns. He wouldn't begin to mimic his cousin on the mic or in the ring. He would simply be given a chance to "find himself" without fans burying him due to a WWE push. The Rock found himself firing back, perhaps that is what Reigns needs to finally build his Roman Empire. Or to finish off the title of this article, so that we can smell what he is cooking.

Again, some probably disagree. Either with the approach or to even consider changing Reigns. Understandably, as we are all entitled to our opinions. Yes, he started on the main roster as a heel, but The Shield got over, went face, and only Rollins broke away as a heel. At least this is something other that a feud with Big Show...again. Roman Reigns versus Big Show was used before in an attempt to get Roman over with the audiences as he approached his Wrestlemania main event with Brock Lesner.

WANTED: ASIAN WWE CHAMPION

Before anyone says or thinks it, Yokozuna was not Asian but rather a Samoan (Polynesian) portraying one. So he doesn't count. We are talking mainly Japan and/or China, since that is where they will likely be billed from, but from an Asian country. Besides the point. In Japan wrestling is just as big as it is here in North America. Both with their own promotions, and whenever a promotion (a legit one) crosses the Pacific. It has been that way for decades.

So, why hasn't there been an Asian WWE Champion? Sure, we have had some superstars over the years of Asian decent, but nobody rose to the top. Some were never really able to "get over" while stars like Tajiri or Ultimo Dragon (who actually were able to garner some mid-card success in WWE). Perhaps the obvious reason could be the language barrier, North American English is said to be the hardest language to learn, and things can lose momentum with todays audiences and trying to understand broken English. Add the numerous appearances that may require a strong ability on a microphone (tv and radio talk shows, etc). Tajiri is rumored to be capable of speaking English quite fluently, but chooses to appear as though he can't in order to remain in character. There isn't anyone else who can? Even American born wrestlers like Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat (who is half Japanese) to represent their heritage? And even if there isn't, add another reason to the list of why "managers" are needed. Yokozuna only said "Bonzai!", even if he was actually Japanese, that is all he needed to say with people like Mr. Fuji (American born Japanese performer) or Jim Cornette doing the talking.
What started this thought, was watching a Hideo Itami match on NXT. Very talented, over with the crowd, and will likely make it to the main roster one day. However, I couldn't help but wonder, "Will he ever be a top contender in WWE? Will he ever wear the WWE World Heavyweight Championship?". This of course thinking back through time, and finding that there hasn't been any WWE Champions of Asian decent. There was an article years ago that had stated WWE Hall Of Famer, Antonio Inoki had defeated Bob Backlund for the WWE (WWWF) Championship in a match in Japan, but it was never recognized by WWE (WWWF). Even if this is a legit incident, reconized or not, it was in the 70's. Almost 40 years ago.

Will there ever be an Asian WWE Champion? There's been countless Caucasians, a few black wrestlers, a couple Samoan and Hispanic wrestlers, and an East Indian in Great Khali (who only captured the World title, and not the WWE title). Wrestling was and is built on diversity, it would be nice to see this continue with the WWE Championship/WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Whichever the name, but the main belt of the WWE.

WANTED: FUTURE WWE GIANTS

It almost feels like a dying art, but it isn't an art, it is simply lack of talent with giant proportions. Of course, this isn't really referring to late greats Andre The Giant and Giant Gonzalez, or today's Giants, Big Show and Great Khali. They are as rare as they are special. This article is referring more to giants  like Kevin Nash, Undertaker, and Kane. Even Mark Henry, who makes up for the height in sheer size and strength.

Most of the names that will pop into your head are likely either retired or in the latter stages of their careers. Which leaves the question, who will be next? Is there even anyone on the horizon? Nobody comes to mind, unless they are currently on the indy scene. There is Matt Morgan, who many thought would have a long and successful career in sports entertainment, is currently "away from the game". Which is somewhat sad, giants have always been apart of the wrestling world, and legitimized the traditional "David versus Goliath" storyline. WWE could easily carry on as thought giants were still there, by focusing on 6'2" and under talent overcoming the muscular 6'6" to 6'9" talent. Example would be say Daniel Bryan or Dolph Ziggler taking on Titus O'Neil or Eric Rowan. It would work, but wouldn't be what is was. The sheer height added a different dimension amongst the muscular bodies, high flyers, and mat wrestlers.

It hadn't crossed a thought before, not like it always had with someone like Big Show or Khali as again, they are rare. But, the other giants in the 6'10" to 7'0" range  are just as rare it would seem. If you are reading this  and are or know somebody who is in that height range, hit the gym and find a way to WWE's headquarters or training facilities. You/they could get an opportunity simply based on size. They might need you.

That was both a joke and a serious nudge. The question is whether or not WWE is aware of the dying breed of giants amongst the ranks. Time will eventually catch up with who they have now, and haven't noticed anyone amongst the NXT (next) crop of sports entertainers.

WILL MANAGERS EVER FULLY RETURN?

Managers, valets, agents, whatever you want to call them have been slowly dying off over the years in the WWE. Which is both sad and ironic as some of the greatest have come from or through the WWE. Legends like Bobby The Brain Heenan, Captain Lou Albano, Paul Bearer, Miss Elizabeth, Jim Cornette, the list goes on. Paul Heyman (who is truly one of, if not the greatest) is keeping the position alive appearing mainly with Brock Lesner. He was put with guys like Ryback and Cesaro but wasn't with them long enough to really do anything. CM Punk he wasn't "needed" but was surly amplified by Heyman's presence.

That is what managers are for, they make their clients better. The most obvious is their ability to cover the weak points, and magnify the strong points (Heyman is a master at this). Best examples would be the managers doing most, if not all of the talking. Both to cut a promo on an opponent, but to also boast about the performer. This helps carry the talent in an area they may be new or struggling with, while they learn to do so or improve on their own. Remember when Bobby The Brain Heenan began to manage Andre The Giant? It wasn't as though Brain was needed, it was Andre The Giant. With Andre's heel turn, most notably against Hulk Hogan, there needed to be more of a verbal build up given the new age of Sports Entertainment. Given his French accent, Andre wasn't always "understandable". So, Heenan would run his mouth, and Andre would basically close with a one liner. It truly added to the build up of one wrestling history's biggest main events. Or how about Paul Bearer shortly after Undertaker debuted? His voice, mic work and ring knowledge added to that character in a massive way. Would Undertaker have become a what he is today if he didn't have Paul in the beginning? Maybe, but maybe not.
We are sort of seeing Lana as a manager, but the more WWE has Rusev speak, the more it adds to the apparent problems that are brewing between them. Which is a shame if it happens. She combines both the mic work of a traditional manager, but also adds the beauty of a valet. Imagine where past stars like Vladimir Kozlov or Ezekiel Jackson could have done with a valet or manager like this. They may have done better, and lasted longer. Or even present stars like Ryback or Big E, who aren't the best on the mic but physical specimens.

Sure, WWE wants their stars to be able to do it all on their own. Understandably so, only the best should be at the top. It is just that history has shown us, sometime even the best can go to another level with a little help. It can also be done through the making of tag teams, but that is another topic for another day. Bottom line, WWE might want to consider even creating their own as Heyman and Zeb won't be around forever.

WWE LEGENDS HOUSE. WHO SHOULD BE NEXT?

Although not too different from your typical reality show, where a large chunk of things is generally "planned" or "scripted", but WWE Legends House wasn't too bad. The first season saw legends Pat Patterson, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Tony Atlas, Hillbilly Jim, Mouth Of The South Jimmy Hart, Howard Finkel, Mean Gene Okerland, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. An entertaining cast, and their different personalities clashing and combining made for some great moments on the show. It would have been interesting to see Duggan and Atlas come to blows, it would have put a damper on things, but would've been nice to see who'd win. Hacksaw is stupid tough, but Atlas is still a walking tank. That was really the only negativeness on the show, the verbal disputes between the two. But, there was of course the emotional roller coasters with Pat Patterson "coming out" to the public, Jim Duggan and Jimmy Hart's personal losses in their lives, everyone's stories added a refreshing realism to these guys. Larger than life characters, who at the end of the day, are just as human as those they entertain.

So, we'll assume that WWE will be bringing the show back for another season. The question is, who will make up the cast? Of course, everyone will have their personal favorites, as we do here in the upcoming list, the problem is which of the Legends are both entertaining outside of the ring, but not in a destructive way that could destroy the atmosphere of the show. Remember Chyna on "Celebrity Rehab" a few years ago? Wasn't entertaining at all, and was sad if anything (and if you've seen her as of late, things got worse). Characters like The Nasty Boys may be entertaining for a moment, but possibly could become "too much" and not funny. WWE will likely stick to the Hall Of Famers or the proven "good boys" or company guys (Hillbilly Jim). So, who does the Non-Geeky Nerd think should be in Legends House? They are...

George The Animal Steele
There is so much more to the man behind the character. Of course, there would have to be some turnbuckle pads set up around the house as to keep with character at times.

Jerry The King Lawler
Might conflict with Raw and what not, but a storyline hiatus could make it work. But, it may also conflict with him hosting the "reunion" show, but like puppies, we want KING!

Koko B. Ware
The only real stipulation is that he brings the bird (not sure if Frankie is still alive), as it goes with his persona, but could also drive some members nuts leading to the needed "drama" of the house.

Mick Foley
Mick can be the funny one, he can be the peace keeper, or he can be the one everyone picks on (or the Jimmy Hart of the group). It fits with him being the young one of the house. Maybe too early for his era, but who better to "bridge the gap"?

Iron Sheik
Remember that destructiveness mentioned before? As entertaining as he can be, the possibility of him creating a negative tone would be high....er than he would be. But, if there is always editing so maybe.

Bobby The Brain Heenan
Would have been the absolute best choice. Sadly, Brain is battling through health issues making this near impossible. But, again he'd have been the best choice, and likely would have been apart of the inaugural cast.

So many of the Legends who would have been perfect for the show have unfortunately passed away through the years. And it may be too early to use Attitude Era legends, and not too sure if the "bigger" names like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and others would sign on for this. Guess we will have to wait and see, well those with WWE Network, everyone else get on that as it is truly a great deal. And we're only in the beginning of all this, things can or should only get better.

WHO STILL NEEDS TO BE INDUCTED INTO WWE HALL OF FAME?

This year we saw the late Macho Man Randy Savage, as well as Alundra Blayze/Medusa get inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. People who were thought to be unlikely, despite fans (and wrestlers/superstars) begging for it. But, they are in. Now, we are basically left with the traditional picks, meaning there wouldn't really be any controversy involved. Really, only Owen Hart and Chris Benoit are left with that distinction. Owen's wife not wanting to be involved with wrestling due to Owen's tragic ending, and of course the Benoit situation almost speaks for itself as to why it won't happen. Even if WWE tried to focus everything on Benoit's in-ring career, the distraction would be massive, and could take away from both his and the other inductees. Sad, but true and understandable.

So, who's really left? Let's focus more on the WWE alumni, as they really have the best odds of getting in as time progresses. And their inductions won't be based on location as some of the WWE's choices have been based on. And that's not to say those outside of WWE history don't deserve in, it is just a matter of opinion, memory, and exposure to those stars. Where if you were in WWE, chances are higher that fans will remember them more, or more fans will at least.

Sting
Up until Wrestlemania 31, this would have felt a tad awkward and likely would have been treated differently. Would Sting have been the "main" inductee if he hadn't appeared in WWE? Or just one of the group, with a WWE alumni getting the honors? All of that no longer matters. Sting has had at least one match (a good match too), and fans showed he is still The Icon. Now it is a matter of when this induction happens. Flair had mentioned "the other" HOF (TNA), will Sting mention them in his speech? Having been there for so long in between WCW and WWE.

X-Pac (Sean Waltman)
His career may not have been as illustrious as the other Kilq members, but Pac has been involved with two of the game changing groups, nWo and DX. Combine that with being a great worker, X-Pac should be in. Shawn Michaels said it himself after Nash was inducted, only two left to go. Pac and Triple H.

Lex Luger
Luger is one of the few WWE and WCW alumni that haven't been inducted. WWE might be able to get past him leaving the company to appear on the first WCW Nitro His involvement with the tragic death of Miss Elizabeth may hinder this from happening, even though Elizabeth's choices were her own, it showed Luger in a different light. Guess we'll have to forever wait and see.

Victoria (Lisa Marie Varon)
With Trish and Lita being Hall Of Famers, it is time to start inducting the other Divas that helped the division during the Attitude Era (and after). Some of Trish's greatest matches came against Victoria, who was also a two time WWE Womens Champion, why not induct Victoria?

Ivory
Although she was quite attractive, Ivory was known more for her character(s). Which was almost, almost, always the anti-Diva in some fashion. And like most of the Divas from the Attitude Era, Ivory could go in the ring (multiple womens titles prove that), and was possibly the best of the ladies at that time on the mic.

Jacqueline
She did it all during and post Attitude Era. The overtly sexual stuff (but with confidence), winning the WWE Womens Championship multiple times, and even becoming the first ever (and at the moment, the only) female to win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

Irwin R. Schyster (Mike Rotunda)
Before becoming the Tax Man, Rotunda was a two time WWE Tag Team Champion as part of The U.S. Express. As well as titles from his WCW/NWA days (TV and Tag titles), and another three reigns as tag champs with Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase in WWE. He's also the father of Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt, so his inductors are set.

Scott Steiner
Okay, there is still another one that fans want and would be a surprise if it happened. His career is most certainly worthy of an induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame, his illustrious tag team career with is brother Rick as the Steiner Brothers where they traveled the world and won numerous titles. His singles career is also worthy of an induction, more so his WCW than his WWE runs. The problems lies with what makes us all love Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner, his unpredictability. Steiner isn't afraid of saying what he wants, when he wants. Giving him a live mic at black tie event could go wrong. Most would be entertaining for us fans, however it could get ugly. And in typical Poppa Pump fashion, incoherently delivered.

Just a small list of course, there are countless wrestlers/sports entertainers who deserve to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. For some of them, the WWE Network could help their cause as new fans could take a liking to their previous bodies of work, and old fans remember the ones they may have forgotten.

FUTURE ENDEAVOR SEASON

Usually not long after Wrestlemania, the WWE begins to thin out their roster. Up until a few years ago, it was always the main roster that saw the majority of the cuts. Nowadays with NXT in the mix of things it is a combination of both. We'll focus on the main roster for this, but who should possibly be a bit worried? It is rumored, and a bit apparent, that WWE is looking to put more focus on the United States and Intercontinental Championships. And there is a small resurgence within the tag team division. Add the fact that Seth Rollins is now WWE World Heavyweight Champion, so the main title will be in the mix of things. This is all great. However, you need talent to do this.

But, business is business. Although most of the cuts will likely come from NXT, as there has been less invested in them so far so to speak. This list will focus on those from the main roster who may want to worry about their job security with WWE. Some are simply under utilized, rarely seen, at the end of their in-ring career, etc, etc. And they are...

Heath Slater
With Titus O'Neil reforming Prime Time Players with Darren Young, the One Man Rock Band's career doesn't look too good. Unless WWE comes up with a new plan quick, Slater may be playing his tune elsewhere.

Zack Ryder
His popularity with the IWC is possibly what has kept Ryder around for this long. Under utilization would be to blame here. Here's hoping he forms a tag team with someone, and keeps around within the tag division. Or somehow rises in the ranks with the mid-card titles.

Goldust
Goldie has shown that he can still go, but after the partnership with Cody, sorry, Stardust ended. Where else is there for the Bizarre One to go? Behind the scenes of course. Like his father, the talent doesn't simply lay with an in-ring career.

The New Day
Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E. All three of them. Unless this was all a plan, and there is an upcoming heel turn, New Day sucks (as the crowds are now saying). Even if this wasn't a plan, a new direction needs to happen soon.

R-Truth
Truth is entertaining no matter what direction he takes his character. But, like many he is mainly under utilized. Perhaps after all these years of being a showman, a heel turn and being the front man of a heel New Day could save Truth (and as stated previously, New Day as well).

Adam Rose
There didn't seem to be a plan for this character if and when, which it basically has, the party ended. If you count a short feud (if you can call it that) with The Bunny, he hasn't done much. Time to restart the party, or change the direction. Overly used, but possibly a legit heel turn?

Christian
He's currently resting and heeling up, but how much longer will WWE keep Captain Charisma around? At least as an in-ring performer, there must be a behind the scenes position for Christian if he chooses that route.

A Diva would usually be added to the list, however, AJ Lee has just recently retired from WWE. Whether or not the remains she is finished with wrestling remains to be scene. Likely though given the playing field. Of course, none of the performers deserve to be let go, it is just how things are going or how they are, or haven't been used. This is why there needs to be not a competing second company, but how WWE and WCW coexisted during say the 80's and early 90's. Guess we'll see how, when, or if this all plays out.
