Let's go back to when Macho Man Randy Savage won the WWE Championship. Something that is said to have happened after Honky Tonk Man refused to drop the Intercontinental Championship, which led to Vince giving the WWE Championship to Macho Man. Which was supposed to go to Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase (Sr.). All of this would lead to the creation of the WWE Million Dollar Championship. Not sure if this was ever fully confirmed though. Regardless.
How does this relate to Bray Wyatt? Well, who else has been as "over" with the fans for the past couple years? Other than Daniel Bryan of course, Bray Wyatt has had "the whole world in his hands". Daniel has tasted gold of course, and has even been in the main event of Wrestlemania. Wyatt, not so much. And much like WWE Hall Of Famer Ted Dibiase Sr., Bray is being rewarded with something other than the WWE Championship. Bray Wyatt is receiving a match with The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 31.
Some may be saying; "Who cares? The streak is over." Understandably. Most felt that an up and comer should have received that honor over someone like Brock Lesner. However, there are those who feel that Brock being in this for the money, made him the perfect person to take the massive "heat" that followed. Now, Bray Wyatt is in a position to be put over, or ever just have an amazing match with The Phenom, but with zero negative possibilities. This is somewhat more than what The Streak was. This could be a "passing of the torch" moment.
One thing is for sure, this is could be one of the best Wrestlemania moments ever. Even so much, as to make us forget about wanting Undertaker Vs Sting. Throw in the amount of preparation Undertaker puts into his Wrestlemania matches, as well as possibly wanting to "make it up to" the fans. Well, the ones who feel they need redemption.
